Barcelona new boy Paco Alcacer says he's made a significant step forward in his career after joining the 24-time La Liga winners from Valencia.
The 23-year-old Spain international became Barca's sixth signing after making the switch to the Nou Camp for €30 million.
He is yet to feature for the club this term, and knows he faces tough competition for a starting place as he competes with the world-class attacking talent that already exists within the squad.
Speaking for the first time since his arrival, Alcacer told the club's official website: "Joining Barca is a step forward in my career.
"For me it is a great experience to play with the likes of Luis Suarez, Leo Messi and Neymar Jr."
Alcacer insists, while he is comfortable as a striker, he will play wherever he is needed to force his way into the side.
He added: "My main position is centre-forward but I have played in a number of positions, and if have to play out wide, I will.
"I will do everything I can to make the most of my opportunities. When the chance to play for Barca comes along, it is a chance that you cannot turn down."
