Barcelona may have claimed the 2015/16 La Liga title, but it’s fair to say that Cristiano Ronaldo got the better of Lionel Messi last season, with Real Madrid securing Champions League silverware while Portugal won the European Championships. The Real man now has another feather in his cap: the highest ranking on FIFA 17.
With a rating of 94, Ronaldo is the highest-ranked player in the new edition of the game, with Messi ranked second with a rating of 93 and his Barca team-mate Neymar next best on 92.

Madrid also get one over their Spanish rivals, with eight los Blancos players in the top 50, while only six Barca players feature in the top 50.
FC Bayern Munchen keeper Manuel Neuer is the highest-ranked player in the Bundesliga, rounding out the top five with a rating of 92.
Zlatan Ibrahimović tops the Premier League standings, with the Manchester United striker handed a ranking of 90, enough for seventh on the list.
