FC Schalke 04 manager Markus Weinzierl is hoping to galvanise team morale as he prepares for their upcoming clash with champions FC Bayern München.
The Royal Blues were beaten 1-0 by Eintracht Frankfurt in their Bundesliga opener, and take on Die Roten in their first home match of the campaign on 9 September.
Weinzierl must now use the current international break to try to concoct a plan for when the Bavarian giants come to Veltins Arena, and is hoping to integrate his new signings as quickly as possible.
"We had prepared well for the first game in Frankfurt but we didn't implement our plans, especially in the first 20 minutes, which was annoying," he told his club's official website.
"Of course, the whole team and I personally were unhappy because of the performance. I haven't noticed any unrest in the team this week, though.
"The challenge for the next few weeks is to bring the team together as one unit. It has been made a bit more difficult with a number of players going away on international duty.
"It's early in the season for Bayern to be coming to us, so it's important that we show the right attitude on the pitch. We have the chance to make amends for our opening day loss at home.
"We still have to decide how we are going to set up for the match. We will have to see the condition the international players are in when they return and what changes we have to make.
"We will have to make sure the new faces understand our philosophy as quickly as possible but it's never that easy with people from so many different countries."
