Controversial striker Mario Balotelli has finally made the move away from Liverpool, and will continue his career in France after joining Nice on a free transfer.
The Italian striker was always a gamble when he joined the Reds from Milan in 2014, but with just one goal in 16 Premier League appearances he leaves Anfield as a flop.
The 26-year-old spent last season back at San Siro on loan to Milan, where he also failed to register more than a solitary strike in 20 Serie A appearances.

The former Inter Milan and Manchester City star will now be hoping to resurrect his flagging career in Ligue 1.
"Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes Mario the best of luck in his future career." read the brief statement on Liverpool's official website.
Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere was delighted with the signing and hopes the club's family atmosphere will help bring out the best of the talented forward.
"We are very pleased to welcome Mario," Rivère said on the club's official website. "We hope that in Nice's family atmosphere [Balotteli] will find the pleasure of the game."
