Torino confirm Hart loan deal

Italian outfit Torino FC have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Joe Hart on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.

The England national team recently let the player leave camp so he could travel to Italy to undergo a medical.

City manager Pep Guardiola had earlier made it clear that the goalkeeper wasn't in his plans, and that he was free to leave.

The player did not make a single Premier League appearance under Guardiola, and his prospects seemed even more diminished after the arrival of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.

Nonetheless, Torino officials have confirmed that Hart has signed and will officially join the club after the completion of the international break. England play Slovakia in a 2018 World Cup qualifier in Trnava on Sunday.

The 29-year-old told Torino's official website, "Suddenly, my career has seen an important turning point. It was a sign. Torino’s offer came in the right moment and in the right manner. I am very excited to test myself in an important and beautiful league such as Serie A."

Hart made 348 appearances for City over the course of a successful 10-year spell with the club.
