We are wondering if he will lose any weight in Spain, as Pep Guardiola did not allow him to train with the first team when he returned for pre-season.

20:02 – Wilfried Bony – Manchester City to Stoke City on loan

“Bringing Wilfried in was a no-brainer for us,” said Potters manager Mark Hughes of the 27-year-old Bony, who has not featured under Pep Guardiola.

19:01 – Joe Hart – Manchester City to Torino on loan

The Englishman is off to Italy for the season and should he make a first-team appearance, he would be the first English goalkeeper to feature in Serie A since the league’s inception in 1929. Impressive indeed.

Hopefully, for his sake, he is able to develop the areas of his game City manager Pep Guardiola feels he lacks in.

“Suddenly my career has undergone a change, I interpreted it as a sign of destiny,” he said.

“The move to Torino has come at the right time, in the right way. [Italian] goalkeeping is recognised throughout the world, so I am convinced I can learn a lot here at Torino.”

Reports suggest he is looking for a more permanent position with the La Liga outfit, but will have to do better than the three goals he managed in 31 appearances for Newcastle.

14:50 – Shani Tarashaj – Everton to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan

The Swiss star has yet to make a first team appearance for Everton despite being a part of the national squad. Good luck in Germany!
