Turkish giants Besiktas have announced the signing of Switzerland international Gokhan Inler from English Premier League champions Leicester City.
The 32-year-old has brought an end to a frustrating spell at the King Power Stadium, having made just 10 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes after a reported £3 million switch from Napoli.
And, with his first-team prospects not expected to improve under manager Claudio Ranieri this season, the player has been given the green light to join the Super Lig outfit.
The midfielder has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Besiktas after successfully completing a medical examination at the club on Wednesday.
The transfer fee has not been disclosed, but is believed to be a nominal amount due to the player's age and lack of first-team minutes over the past year.
