Jamaica international Adrian Mariappa has sealed a return to Watford on a three-year contract following a three-year spell at Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old returns to his boyhood club after the expiration of his contract with Crystal Palace, for whom he made 39 Premier League appearances.
Mariappa started his career with the Hornets, making over 200 appearances between 2005 and 2012, before joining Reading on a three-year deal.
However, his Royals stay was short-lived, as he subsequently signed for the Eagles after just one season at the Madejski Stadium.
Manager Walter Mazzarri can now call on Mariappa, who will wear the number six shirt, in Watford's next league match away to West Ham on Saturday, 10 September.
