Arturo Vidal believes FC Bayern München are the best team in the world, despite failing to claim the Champions League trophy in recent seasons.
The Chile international joined Bayern from Juventus at the start of the 2015/16 season, and has since gone on to win a treble of trophies for the German champions.
The 29-year-old has scored seven goals in 47 appearances from midfield for FC Hollywood, and has won the Bundesliga as well as the DFB-Pokal and Supercup.
Last season the central midfielder was a part of Pep Guardiola's side that crashed out in the semi-finals of the competition to Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid went on to win the tournament after a penalty shoot-out.
Nonetheless, despite Bayern having not won the UEFA Champions League since 2012/13, Vidal maintains that Bayern are the best team in the world.
The Santiago-born star told the Bundesliga's official website: "I first arrived here when I was in my initial stages as a footballer. I grew a lot and then went to Juventus, and now I'm at Bayern, which I think is the nicest moment of my career. I'm playing in the best team in the world, so I'm happy."
He added: "I had a great (first) year and the only thing I didn't win was the Champions League. I've grown a lot in the year I've been here."
