Barcelona duo Lionel Messi and Neymar have been named on the three-man shortlist for the FIFA Ballon d'Or alongside Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo and Messi have dominated the award over the last seven years, the former winning it three times and the latter coming out on top on four occasions.
Messi is favourite to walk away with the honours this year after playing a pivotal role in Barcelona's 2014/15 season, in which they won the La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League titles.
The Argentina international netted 58 goals in all competitions last season, and has managed nine in 13 appearances in what has been a injury ravaged season thus far.
Ronaldo outscored his rival with 61 goals last season, but Real Madrid ended the campaign empty-handed.
The Portuguese international has not had the greatest of starts to the current season, but has still scored 16 goals in 20 games.
Neymar, meanwhile, netted 39 goals in all competitions in Barcelona's treble-winning 2014/15 season, while he has already netted 19 goals this season.
The winner for the 2015 FIFA Ballon d'Or will be announced at a Gala event in Zurich on January 11, 2016.
