FC Utrecht have signed Arsenal full-back Tafari Moore and Ajax striker Richairo Zivkovic on respective one-year loan deals.
Zivkovic has played 11 matches for the Ajax Amsterdam first team, scoring two goals, while the forward has notched 27 goals in 45 matches in the Reserve League.
“Ajax and FC Utrecht have reached an agreement for the loan out of Richairo Zivkovic. The deal is effective immediately and is valid for one season, until June 30, 2017. The striker is under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2019,” the Dutch champions stated on their website.
Moore, meanwhile, will be drafted into the Utrecht reserve side, Jong FC Utrecht.
The 19-year-old has been with the Gunners for seven years, and featured last season for the U21 side in the reserves league and for the U-19’s in the UEFA Youth League.
“We would like to wish Tafari well for his time in the Netherlands,” Arsenal said in a statement.
Arsenal’s Dutch academy director Andries Jonker has already sent two young defenders – Julio Pleguezuelo and Stefan O’Connor, to the Netherlands on loan deals.
