Saint-Etienne manager Christophe Galtier is guarded over his side's chances of seeing off Beitar Jerusalem in the first leg of their Europa League play-off fixture.
Les Verts travel to the Teddy Stadium on Thursday evening after a terrible defensive performance in their 3-2 loss to domestic rivals Bordeaux at the weekend.
Galtier feels the tie will be evenly poised as their opposition's high work-rate and pressing tactics will give them no room for error.
"Either team could win it," the for Marseille coach told the league's website. "We're expecting a hard-fought, tough match. It's a different competition. We can't afford to repeat the mistakes we made in Bordeaux.
"On Saturday, we were put in danger a lot, but we've been working on that since. We have skill and experience. I don't think the atmosphere will be getting to anyone. Beitar are an organised team and they never give up."
