Manchester United have reportedly won the race for one of the hottest prospects in Brazilian football, while Chelsea and Tottenham look to do some late business before the end of the window.
Gabriel Barbosa to Manchester United
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to offer £30million to bring Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Barbosa to Old Trafford, according to The Sun. The teenager reportedly has his heart set on the Premier League and now, Leicester, who thought they had won the battle for his signature are set to lose out to the Red Devils.

The 19-year-old has set the Rio Olympics alight with his eye-catching style of football and Mourinho is understood to be ready to pay Santos £26million – plus £4million to his agent. Now United have reportedly made their interest clear, Barbosa head has been turned and he is ready to seal a move to Old Trafford.
Rumor rating: 7/10. We were led to believe Mourinho wanted four players and their transfer business for the summer was done, however this could be one last iron in the fire.
Jonas Hector to Chelsea
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is interested in signing Cologne defender Jonas Hector, according to reports. The Daily Mirror claims that the Blues are on the search for a new left-back and the Germany international has been the subject of an enquiry from the London-based club.
Now Baba Rahman has been loaned to Schalke for the season, Chelsea are a bit short of back-up for first-choice left-back Cesar Azpilicueta. Hector, who started every game for Germany at Euro 2016, has been linked with a number of sides over the summer, including Liverpool and Serie A clubs.

Hector only signed a new contract last week and it is understood that the defender would command a fee of around £20million if he was to move.
Rumor rating: 5/10. Did he just sign a new deal so Cologne could get more money for him? Or is he happy at the Bundesliga side? We think the latter…for now! At 26, he still has time to make a big move.
Danny Drinkwater to Tottenham
Tottenham could make a move for Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater after he turned down a new deal at the club, according to The Sun. The newspaper claims that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is watching the situation carefully following his refusal to accept improved terms at the King Power Stadium.
It is thought the Premier League champions, who lost their opening day match to newly-promoted Hull, put an offer on the table after hearing of interest from other big clubs. The Sun continues by saying that an initial contract offer of £80,000-a-week was rejected and the Foxes are now preparing a fresh deal closer to £100,000-a-week.

Drinkwater was key to their Premier League success, playing in 35 of their matches last season on the way to winning the title. Pochettino is understood to want more depth to his midfield, despite the addition of Victor Wanyama from Southampton, and will be buoyed by the latest apparent contract breakdown.
Rumor rating: 3/10. Very unlikely that Leicester will sell any more of their title-winning stars, especially in a midfield area just vacated by N’Golo Kante.
