Chelsea midfielder Danilo Pantic has joined Eredivisie side Excelsior Rotterdam on a season-long loan deal.
Pantic returns for a second spell in Dutch football after spending last season at the Blues' feeder team, Vitesse, but will look to rekindle a once promising career after a less than successful year in Arnhem.
The 19-year-old was considered one of Serbia's brightest prospects when Chelsea spent £1.25 million to sign him from Partizan in July 2015, beating Juventus to his signature in the process.
Pantic told the club's website: "I've just arrived and still can not say so much about the club, but the first impression is good.
"I just met my new teammates and employees of the club.
"I understand that Excelsior is a family club and that speaks to me."
He added: "Chelsea is a big club and it is difficult to intervene there as a young player.
"Therefore, it is good for my development to be loaned out and to gain experience."
