New Dijon signing Marvin Martin will have to wait a little longer to make his debut for the club after suffering a groin injury last week.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined Olivier Dall’Oglio’s side last month on loan from Lille for the 2016/17 campaign in a bid to get his career back on track following an injury-ravaged two seasons.
Martin had recovered from his most recent problem and linked up with his new team-mates for a training camp in Haute-Loire, but another setback has ruled him out of action for the next three weeks.
As a result, the Frenchman will miss the start of the new season when Dijon kick-off their return to Ligue 1 with a home game against Nantes, having gained promotion last term.
Martin is also in danger of sitting out the clash against his parent club the following weekend as Dall’Oglio’s men travel to Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
