Zidane confirms Morata stay

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has ended speculation over the future of Alvaro Morata by insisting the striker will not be leaving the club this season.

The 23-year-old was sold by Los Blancos to Juventus in 2014 where he spent two years before returning home, having been pivotal in Juve's march to the Champions League final the following year, scoring a goal in each leg to knock out his hometown team.

But amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, Zidane insisted: "He's [Morata] a Madrid player, we're delighted with him. He's come home and he'll be staying this year."

Zidane did, however, admit that Jese is in talks to move on, adding: "He's in talks with PSG, although nothing is signed yet."
