New Chelsea signing Michy Batshuayi reveals the desire to succeed that eminates from the club makes him want to get involved and help them achieve their aims.
The Belgium international signaled his intent to be a part of the Blues project by putting pen to paper on a five-year contract after Chelsea and Marseille had agreed the £33.2million fee.
The Stamford Bridge outfit suffered a disasterous campaign last season, finishing the season in 10th place in the Premier League leaving them without continental football this term and they are desperate to return to the summit of the English game.
To correct the wrongs of last season, Chelsea have appointed a new manager and have brought in midfield hard man N’Golo Kante as well as Batshuayi to beef up their squad.
“Just being at the training ground for one day I can see it’s very big and you feel you’ve joined a club that really want to win. Everything is new and that is exciting,” he told Chelsea magazine.
“It’s a magnificent feeling. It feels fantastic to be here, it’s a childhood dream for me so I’m very happy.
“It’s a great opportunity. Conte is a manager who works very hard and likes people to work hard for him as well. I am very pleased to come and play for him here at Chelsea.”
