In case you were stranded on a remote island over the weekend, David Moyes has been appointed the new Sunderland boss, replacing new England manager Sam Allardyce.

The Scot faces a tough task to keep the Black Cats in the Premier League, and he’s reportedly planning to bring in reinforcements from his former club, Manchester United.

Adnan Januzaj is the man Moyes has his eye on, with the young Belgian still struggling to make his mark at Old Trafford and Jose Mourinho believed to be open to letting him leave on loan.

Rumour rating: 7/10. If Januzaj was smart he would jump on this. While a loan move to Sunderland isn’t particularly glamorous, it provides the 21-year-old with the chance to prove he can crack it in the Premier League.

Reports on Sunday have now suggested that the Reds are lining up a £13m offer for PSV left-back Jetro Willems.

Rumour rating: 8/10. Liverpool need a left-back and Willems is young, talented and not too expensive; it seems like the perfect fit.
