PEC Zwolle technical director Gerard Nijkamp says the club is excited to have secured the loan services of Hachim Mastour.
The Blauwvingers completed the signing of the Morocco international on a season-long loan deal from Serie A giants AC Milan, and Nijkamp feels the Eredivisie will provide the teenager the perfect stage to continue his development.
"With Hachim we get a talented player in the group, who needs a platform to develop further," he told the club's website.
"The fact that as a 15-year-old player he was already on the bench at AC Milan says enough about his technical skills, but talent also needs playing time to take the next step.
"We are giving Hachim the opportunity to continue playing in the spotlight with us."
The 18-year-old playmaker spent last season on loan at La Liga side Malaga, but only managed to feature once before returning to the San Siro.
