Bayern München forward Thomas Muller has indicated the Bundesliga champions are working on a new deal to keep him at the club beyond 2019.
The Germany international was heavily linked with Manchester United during the off-season transfer window, while Chelsea are reportedly interested in acquiring his services in January.
There had been suggestions in the German media recently that Bayern were planning to offer Muller a new improved contract to fend off the advances of potential suitors.
The 26-year-old, who is contracted to the Bavarian giants until 2019, has already equalled his season-best tally of 13 goals, from just 14 league outings this term.
Asked at a PR event whether a new agreement was in the offing, Muller said: "There is a lot of indication for it and not a lot against it."
