Xherdan Shaqiri's agent remained coy when asked about rumours about a possible move to Borussia Dortmund this off-season.
The Swiss international only joined Internazionale from Bayern Munich in January, but has been put up for sale after failing to live up to expectations.
He had been linked with a move back to the Bundesliga, with Schalke reported to be favourites to land him as a replacement for Julian Draxler.
However, it now seems unlikely that Draxler will complete a move to Juventus as expected, thus ending all possibility of Shaqiri heading to the Veltins-Arena.
Recent reports, though, suggest Borussia Dortmund are now leading the chase and are supposedly ready to play £10,5 million to secure his signature.
When quizzed about the move, Edin Shaqiri – Xherdan's brother and agent – would not be drawn on the matter, tellng German publication Bild: "You'd have to ask Dortmund about it."
