Stoke City will be looking to emulate their thrashing of Liverpool at the end of last season when the two sides meet in the season opener at the Britannia on Sunday.
The Potters hammered a hapless Reds side 6-1 in the final game of last season and open the new Premier League campaign with the exact same fixture.
Indeed there will be an overwhelming sense of deja vu on Sunday as the sides line-up in the kits they debuted in that game, with the same referee, Anthony Taylor, overseeing proceedings.
Both outfits, though, will feature revamped squads this time around and Stoke could hand debuts to the likes of Marco van Ginkel, Ibrahim Afellay and Joselu.
Goalkeeper Jack Butland will start in goal following Asmir Begovic's departure to Chelsea this off-season, while Marc Wilson, Bojan and Marko Arnautovic are doubts.
Skipper Ryan Shawcross is definitely out as he prepares to have surgery on a niggling back problem next week.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have enjoyed a busy off-season with the signings of Danny Ings, James Milner, Joe Gomez, Adam Bogdan, Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke.
Of those, Benteke, Milner and Gomez look set to be handed stars, the latter especially impressing during pre-season.
Youngster Jordon Ibe has also been a bright-spark during the club's preparations and is also likely to line-up on Sunday.
Joe Allen, though, has been ruled out for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury, while Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan remain long-term concerns.
