Everton have confirmed that forward Kevin Mirallas has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this off-season, with West Ham and Tottenham reported as likely destinations.
However, hot on the heels of James McCarthy's renewal, the club have announced that Mirallas has agreed to an extension ahead of the Toffees' Premier League opener against Watford on Saturday.
"I'm very happy to sign," he told the club's official website upon signing his new contract.
"I've signed at Everton to win a trophy. I'm at a good team and I can continue my performances here.
"Now I am very happy because I can concentrate on my team and our future, starting with the Premier League tomorrow."
