Chelsea have confirmed that Radamel Falcao, Alexandre Pato and Marco Amelia have departed the club following the expiration of their respective contracts.
Falcao joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Monaco in July 2015, but failed to impress, registering a mere 12 appearances and netting once in all competitions.
Former AC Milan striker Pato arrived on loan from Corinthians in January and scored on his debut from the penalty spot in a 4-0 win at Aston Villa in April.
Much like his South American counterpart, the Brazilian became increasingly frustrated at his lack of game-time after making only two appearances and scoring once.
Amelia was brought in to provide goalkeeping cover after Thibaut Courtois underwent knee surgery last year. The former Italy international signed as a free agent in October, but despite being named as a substitute during the 2015/16 campaign he was not called into action on the pitch.
"Chelsea Football Club thanks the players for their contributions and wishes them success in the future," A statement on the club's official website read.
