Bournemouth have completed the signing of defender Nathan Ake on a season-long loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The 21-year-old, who spent much of his developmental years with ADO Den Haag and Feyenoord before arriving at Stamford Bridge, has already experienced top-flight football with both his parent club and Watford.
Ake will look bolster Cherries boss Eddie Howe's options ahead of the new season. The Netherlands Under-21 international made 32 appearances for the Hornets last term.
Speaking on Bournemouth's official website chief executive Neill Blake expressed his delight on behalf of the club at Ake's signing.
"We are delighted to welcome Nathan to AFC Bournemouth," chief executive Neill Blake told the club's official website.
"For a player of his age he already has great experience in the Premier League and we believe he will bring a lot to our squad.
"He is an international player with great pedigree, so we are really excited to have him join us for the upcoming season."
