Tottenham have announced the signing of Cameroon international forward Clinton Njie on a five-year contract from Olympique Lyonnais.
The 22-year-old came through the youth system at Lyon and broke into the first team last season with eight goals in 33 appearances as Les Gones pushed PSG for the Ligue 1 title.
"I'm very happy to join Tottenham, such a big club in England," he told their official website. "I'm still young, still growing up and it's a big challenge – the Premier League is one of the biggest leagues in the world.
"The club is ambitious and I'm ready to give my best to help the club achieve its aims. I just hope I get the chance to give [back] to the club what they are giving to me."
Njie will become Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino's fourth signing this transfer window "subject to international clearance & work permit", following Kevin Wimmer, Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld to White Hart Lane.
