Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Roman Burki will be the first-choice goalkeeper ahead of Roman Weidenfeller this season.
The new head coach revealed last week that a decision was yet to be made, but has announced his choice ahead of Dortmund's Bundesliga opener against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
Weidenfeller has been at Dortmund since 2002 and has won two league titles with the club, while Burki was signed from Freiburg in June.
Tuchel confirmed that Weidenfeller would be first choice goalkeeper in Europe, while new arrival Burki will get the nod for domestic action.
"Roman Burki will be in goal [against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday], this decision applies to the Bundesliga season," said Tuchel.
"Roman Weidenfeller will play both games in the Europa League play-offs."
