VfL Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost revealed he is considering his options at the Bundesliga club and has hinted at a possible move to England and the Premier League.
The Netherlands international was recently linked with a move back to his homeland with Feyenoord but he ruled out the move stating he has ambitions to further his career.
The former SC Heerenveen target man told Dutch magazine Helden that he'd be interested in a move to Southampton, who are said to be tracking his situation in Germany.
"That would be a good club for me but I don't know if that club is realistic for me right now," he said. "It's a nice club, that's all I can say.
"My aim is to start a new chapter within Germany or to England, I want to show what can I do."
Since joining Die Wolfe in 2012, the towering forward has scored 47 goals and registered a further 13 assists in 115 appearances.
