Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have revealed head coach Laurent Blanc will be vacating his position after three seasons in charge of the club.
The Frenchman led the Parisian club to three Ligue 1 titles, among other silverware, but crucially failed to guide them past the quarter-final stage of the Champions League.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi wished Blanc all the best in his future endeavors and thanked him for the success he brought to the club.
"As we embark on a new chapter in the development of the club, I would like to thank Laurent Blanc for everything he has achieved over the last three years, both in terms of the playing style and results, I wish him the best for his future challenges," Al-Khelaifi told the official PSG website.
Sevilla boss Unai Emery is expected to succeed Blanc as the club's new manager in the coming days.
The 44-year-old has won three consecutive Europa League titles in his time with the Spanish side, and will be expected to help guide the French giants to a much-coveted Champions League crown.
