Southampton's Sadio Mane will undergo a medical at Liverpool on Monday afternoon after the Reds made a bid believed to be in the region of £30million.
Jurgen Klopp made the Senegal international one of his prime targets this summer in an attempt to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
If the move goes through, it's set to be one of the highest transfers in the club's history, behind the £32.5million paid for Christian Benteke and £35million for Andy Carroll and will be the fifth Southampton player to move to Anfield within the last two years.
Mane was also believed to be a key target for Manchester United before Jose Mourinho took over the hot-seat at Old Trafford but speculation around a move for the forward cooled down since the Portuguese arrival at the club.
Since joining the Saints from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014 for £11.8million, Mane has made 75 first-team appearances, scoring 25 goals and registering 14 assists.
