AC Milan head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has criticised his team's attitude during their 2-0 Coppa Italia win over Perugia at San Siro on Monday.
Keisuke Honda and Luiz Adriano both scored for the Rossoneri, but the Serbian was unimpressed by his team's approach to the game after the opposition were reduced to 10 men thanks to Davide Lanzafame's red card.
"I didn't like the attitude," he said. "After the sending off we didn't try to get a goal. We did keep possession, but it was a kind of possession I didn't like.
"We must always play to our maximum, always trying to score goals and we didn't do that. You could see our organisation, you could see our character, you could see our pressing, there were a lot of good things. But there are many things that still need to improve."
Milan are set to kick off their Serie A campaign away to Fiorentina at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday.
