Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis says he has put in a sizable offer for Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso.
De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss that he is looking at several new acquisitions, including Tolisso.
"Purchases have to be evaluated, verified. We already have a strong team, we have the best attack in Europe so it's not easy to improve," he said.
"I'm carefully considering every name, every negotiation. The latest offer I made – which was very big, much higher than the newspapers reported – was for Tolisso.
"He has important qualities which could be very useful in the next five years, but if he doesn't want to come that's his problem, we can't hold a gun to anyone's head.
"If [Lyon President Jean-Michel] Aulas says he's not for sale, I'm not going to tear my hair out – what can I do about it?"
