Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has agreed a mutual termination of his contract with the Ligue 1 champions.
According to French publication L'Equipe, the former France international has agreed a £17 million compensation to have his PSG deal terminated.
Blanc has been considered a failure by the club's hierarchy following his inability to secure the UEFA Champions League trophy in his three seasons with Les Parisiens, after significant investment in the first-team squad.
Despite leading them to two successive domestic league trebles, falling short at the quarter-finals of Europe's biggest club competition has been deemed unacceptable.
The exorbitant fee for his dismissal is down to having signed a two-year extension on his contract in February after securing the league title in record fashion.
Former Sevilla boss Unai Emery has been tipped as a favorite to succeed Blanc at Parc des Princes.
