Euro 2016: Last 16 draw

Following the completion of the group stages on Wednesday, the Euro 2016 last 16 fixtures were finalised, and there are some very interesting match-ups ahead.

In the final day of group matches, Iceland shocked Austria 2-1 to finish second in Group F on goal difference behind Hungary, who drew 3-3 in a thriller with Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo’s side finished in third place in the group but still advanced.

In the two later games from Group E, Ireland defeated Italy 1-0 thanks to a goal from Robbie Brady and Belgium got past Sweden, winning 1-0.

Italy, Belgium and Ireland all advance from that group.
