Albania coach Gianni De Biasi insists his side will wait patiently to discover if they are staying in France or going home after winning their final match of Group A.
The Albanians dramatically beat Romania 1-0 at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon on Sunday to place themselves in a position to qualify as one of the four best third-place teams.
They will have to wait until the remaining group stage matches have been completed to find out their fate and De Biased says the tournament debutants will be ready, whatever the outcome.
"We will have to prepare as if we have to play the Friday or Saturday. In the meantime we will be watching the other games," De Biasi told reporters.
"If we stay in this tournament, we will give trouble to other teams, even important teams. We had more confidence tonight. We needed the first games to settle into the tournament."
Captain Lorik Cana was omitted from the starting line-up, despite being available for selection after serving his one match suspension and the coach praised the skipper for his professionalism and grace.
"Yes, it was a difficult choice for me," De Biasi said. "I told him today after lunch. I didn't want to change too much of the team that did well against France.
"I asked Lorik to sacrifice himself and he was very generous. He's a leader, a team man. It wasn't easy.
"[Well done] to him for his attitude and his behaviour."
