Portugal and Austria face off in a must-win Group F encounter at Parc des Princes on Saturday at Euro 2016.
Both teams will be after nothing less than victory if they hope to stand a chance of progressing to the knockout stages of the tournament in France.
Fernando Santos' side were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Iceland in their opening group match, while Das Team suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat to arch-rivals Hungary.
A Seleccao have never failed to advance from the group phase at the European Championship – something the 2008 hosts have not yet managed.
"The squad are relaxed and despite the draw against Iceland we still feel good," Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches told reporters.
"In fact it increases our motivation and desire because we know that every game will be more difficult now. So I think we're quietly determined."
Marcel Koller's men will look to put their loss to Hungary behind them and move off the bottom of the group.
Aleksandar Dragovic is the sole player missing from the Austrian line-up due to his red card last time out.
