Swansea City have confirmed the departure of striker Alberto Paloschi, with the Italian poised to join Serie A outfit Atalanta for undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old will officially sign for Atalanta on 1 July, having failed to break into the first-team reckoning at the Liberty Stadium.
Paloschi joined the Swans from Chievo Verona in January and went on to make 10 appearances for the Welsh club, bagging two goals in the process.
"Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank Alberto for his services and wish him well for the future," read a statement on the club's official website.
According to Sky Sports, the deal is worth around £5m, which would represent a financial loss of £3m on the player.
