Hatem Ben Arfa has heaped praise on Nice, attributing the revival of his career to the quality of the Ligue 1 club's staff, set-up and players.
Few people would have guessed the quality of football the winger would be capable of so soon after his disastrous exit from Newcastle via Hull.
Now, just over a year after arriving in France, Ben Arfa is one of the league's top performers, helping Les Aiglons to fourth position in the standings.
"I'm playing in an environment that is allowing me to express myself so I'm very happy here in Nice," the 29-year-old told beIN Sports.
"I'm enjoying it here thanks to my team-mates, the coach, the president. I owe this good season to the team, to the squad.
"I think that in five or six years, people will look back and say that was a very good Nice side. There are lots of good players, and an extraordinary coach.
"Nice are flourishing this season because they have all the right ingredients, and I'm one of those ingredients."
