Bayern München defender Jerome Boateng claims Pep Guardiola will receive a culture shock when he joins an unorganised Manchester City team.
The World Cup winning Germany international admits he was stunned when it was announced that the Spaniard was leaving the Bundesliga champions for City next season.
"We all were a bit disappointed when it was clear that he'd leave us," he told Kicker. "I don't know the reasons for Guardiola's decision. We never talked about it.
"Maybe the English league tempted him because it's allegedly harder to win but, with all due respect for Leicester's performance, they would not have finished top of the Bundesliga.
"And at Manchester City, where I played in the 2010/11 season, a totally different world than at Bayern awaits him. It's a club with a lot of money, but not as well organised as Bayern and not with the structure we have here in all areas, and it's not as informal at Manchester City."
