Internacional goalkeeper Alisson admits he can’t wait to make his move to the Serie A as a transfer to AS Roma looms nearer.
Neither Luciano Spalletti or the Giallorossi have confirmed the deal yet but the Brazil international shot-stopper claims he’ll be presented to the fans in July.
After making his debut in 2013 the academy graduate has been a mainstay for Nação Vermelha making over 100 first team appearances.
Now, the 23-year old is excited about his first European venture and the prospect of playing Champions League football.
“I have my presentation on July 1,” he told Globoesporte.
“I don’t know much, I just know what everyone else knows about the city. I’m looking for information, especially from those who have already lived there.
“Everyone I’ve talked to speaks very well of the city, and that I and my family will adapt well.
“Did I go to play in the Champions League? Yes, it’s a dream, and it’s one of the reasons I chose Roma – to play in the Champions League and the Italian League.
“Roma haven’t won the Scudetto for a long time, I hope to succeed.”
