Champions Leicester City will hold talks with manager Claudio Ranieri in the summer over a possible contract extension, according to vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
Ranieri, who joined the club last summer following an unsuccessful stint with the Greece national side, guided the Foxes to their first ever league title this season and the club is keen to keep hold of him.
“At the end of the season we will sit down together and talk about that with him,” Aiyawatt said.
“It’s not fair to talk now with one game to go. When we talk about something, it’s long term, not just until September. I like people to work for me when they are happy and enjoy working with the group of people.”
“I love his character and the way he talks, and now you have seen how he takes the pressure off everyone and the club. He knows how to manage that well,” he added.
