Bayern München midfielder Sebastian Rode is annoyed that their Bundesliga clash with arch-rivals BVB Dortmund has been scheduled on the final day Oktoberfest.
Bayern traditionally attend the world's biggest beer festival every year dressed in Lederhosen, but they are not expected to make an appearance next month.
Pep Guardiola's side will face Dortmund in the final fixture of matchday eight on a Sunday evening, due to the fact that BVB travel to PAOK Saloniki in the Europa League just three days prior to their game against the defending German champions.
Rode questioned whether the German Football League (DFL) had explored all their options before deciding on the date for the fixture, and expressed his unhappiness at not being able to visit the event in Munich before it ends on October 9.
"As of now, we indeed don't have any official squad trip to the Wiesn [festival area in Munich]," the 24-year-old told Munchener Merkur.
"It's a bit annoying. But we play Borussia Dortmund on the final day instead of visiting the Wiesn. I don't know what went wrong at the DFL."
