According to reports, each member of the Leicester City’s victorious Premier League squad is set to receive a £32,670 Mercedes for their efforts.
The Daily Mail reports that Foxes chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is eager to reward the club’s players after they defied odds of 5000/1 to be crowned champions of England.
Each member of the squad will reportedly receive a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive, which will set Srivaddhanaprabha back around £1 million.
Don’t feel too sorry for the Thai mogul, however, as he’s worth over £2 billion.
Meanwhile, New York‑based research firm Private Company Financial Intelligence estimates that Leicester City football club is now worth more than £436m – 11 times what Srivaddhanaprabha bought it for.
Who knows, he may have a few more surprises up his sleeve for Leicester’s champion footballers.
