Guardiola: No Augsburg fear

Bayern München head coach Pep Guardiola believes FC Augsburg  are better than what they've shown this season, but insists he does not fear them.

The Fuggerstadter have lost two and drawn one in their first three this season, but have won two in their last three meetings against the Bavarians.

And while Guardiola believes Augsburg's form is not indicative of their quality, he insists his side will not go into the game with any fear from previous results.

"This (record against Bayern) shows how good they are. For this reason they are in the Europa League," the former Barcelona coach said ahead of the game.

"Do not forget: We have lost in the league against them, when we were already German champions. But the Telekom Cup we have seen, as well.

"They still have the same coach, before whom I have great respect. He is a great coach. They are aggressive, have good players. But fear? No."
