Thiago Motta's recent performances for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly caught the eye of Internationale and Atletico Madrid, but a move is unlikely.
Dario Canovi – a lawyer who works Motta's agent, with Alessandro Canovi – has confirmed INter and Atleti's interest in the veteran midfielder, but also said there was a reluctance for a move to happen.
"Alessandro had several requests for him, especially on the part of Atletico Madrid. [Roberto] Mancini also wanted him at Inter, but he's very happy in Paris," Canovi said.
"He's one of the undisputed leaders of the team and PSG don't want to let him go. I don't think Thiago wants to say goodbye to Paris either, so I think he'll stay this year and perhaps for a few more."
The Italy international has been a mainstay in the PSG team since his arrival from the Nerazzurri in 2011, winning the Ligue 1 title in four consecutive seasons.
