Feyenoord loanee Lex Immers claims he has no idea whether he will be retained by English Championship side Cardiff City next season.
The Dutchman has impressed during his loan spell with the Bluebirds, contributing six goals in his first 14 games and has often been compared to Leicester striker Jamie Vardy due to his willingness to work for the team and his high work-rate.
The Welsh club are currently under a transfer embargo after breaking financial fair play regulations, and Immers concedes he doesn't know where that leaves him, despite Cardiff manager Russell Slade's desire to sign him on a permanent basis.
"The club are still under a transfer ban, which they have until the end of the season," the 29-year-old midfielder told Omroep West.
"They are hopeful about signing me from Feyenoord, so it remains to be seen."
Before arriving at the Cardiff City Stadium, Immers scored a total of 31 Eredivisie goals in three seasons for De Stadionclub.
