Outgoing Monchengladbach midfielder Havard Nordtveit wants to end his time at the club on a high by winning the remaining two Bundesliga matches of the season.
Nordtveit has been at the club for six and a half years after joining from Arsenal in December 2010, but will return to the Premier League at the end of this season after signing with West Ham United.
Gladbach are currently fourth in the Bundesliga, hanging onto the final Champions League qualification spot by a thread with Hertha level on points but below them on goal difference and Schalke just one point behind.
The Foals take on third-placed Leverkusen on Saturday before finishing the season against Darmstadt, and Nordtveit is determined to help the side into Europe's elite club competition next season.
"We have a massive match against Bayer Leverkusen ahead of us at the moment. It will be third versus fourth in the table," he told the club's website.
"We are hoping that we can build on our great home record then everything will be in our own hands against Darmstadt on the final day.
"I have given everything in my time here and I am happy that I have been able to play so often in front of these great fans. They have supported me and the squad in both good and bad times, at home and away.
"That is why I will enjoy the last minutes with the fans and hopefully leave them with a good result."
