South China defender Bojan Malisic has admitted that his side will be in for a "tough game" against Johor Darul Ta'zim on Tuesday due to the absence of captain Chan Wai-ho.
Chan has been ruled out of the second leg of South China's AFC Cup quarter-final at Mong Kok Stadium due to injury, but despite this Malisic is confident that his side can get the job done and reach the semi-finals of the AFC Cup for the first time since 2009.
"It will be a tough game for us especially with Chan Wai-ho sidelined," Malisic told The Standard. "However, we need to focus on how we play and while Johor Darul Tazim might have some good players in their team, there is really no need to be afraid of them."
South China head into the second leg with the upper hand as midfielder Mahama Awal scored a crucial away goal during their 1-1 draw against their Malaysian opponents in the first leg of the tie last month.
