PSV manager Phillip Cocu is convinced Memphis Depay will be a success at Manchester United after his big-money move to Old Trafford in the off-season.
The 21-year-old winger has not had the best of starts to his United career, despite scoring twice in a Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge last month.
Cocu, though, has no doubts that the Netherlands international, who helped PSV win the Eredivisie title last term, will come good in England.
Depay, who scored 22 goals as Cocu's side stormed to the league title, will now hope to rediscover some of that form when he faces his former club in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Speaking before the match against United at the Philips Stadion, Cocu said: "It's normal you need some time to grow, you need a lot of games.
"Physically he's very strong and he's a quick learner also. And I'm sure when he gets some time he'll get it very fast.
"He will bring goals. He's a very vertical player who always likes to play towards the goal. Not only will he score goals, he has good vision.
"He will have some ups and downs. I'm sure when he's been playing a few months, I'm convinced he'll get better and better."
