Hong Kong woman makes football history

Chan Yuen-ting has become the first woman in top flight football to lead a professional men's team to a title.

Hong Kong Premier League side Easterns SC were crowned league winners with a game to spare following their 2-1 win over South China on Friday. It is their first in 21 years.

The club has won their last three games in a row to surge to the top of the table and now have an unassailable seven-point lead over Kitchee in second place.

The 27-year-old Yuen-ting took over from manager Yeung Ching-kwong in December. Since then, she has lost just one out of 15 games.
